Do you work on site in Zürich or remotely?
Both. Operations, support, software, automation and security I handle remotely – fast across the Zürich economic area, with no travel time. For anything that needs an on-site visit (network, hardware, a first meeting) I come to the city and canton of Zürich as well as Winterthur and around.
We're in fiduciary, legal or healthcare – where does the data live?
On your own infrastructure or on a server in Switzerland – you decide. Your client or patient data doesn't quietly travel to a US corporation and isn't subject to foreign law such as the US CLOUD Act. I set systems up in line with the Swiss revDSG and back them up from day one following the 3-2-1 rule.
How large does our company need to be?
My focus is on small and medium businesses – from a single office to a few dozen workstations. Exactly where an in-house IT department doesn't pay off, I'm your external IT at a predictable monthly price.
Can we move off Microsoft 365 gradually?
Yes, that's the normal case – step by step rather than a risky big-bang over the weekend. First comes what costs or helps the most (often file storage and mail). Old and new run in parallel for a while if needed, so the business stays operational throughout. Details on the Microsoft 365 alternative page.
What happens if you're out or on holiday?
No knowledge lives only in my head: every system is documented, monitored and alerts automatically. For managed-IT clients we agree response times, and for emergencies I work with a partner network. Your operation never hangs on a single person.
